StevePavlina.com was launched 19 months ago. 12 months ago it was averaging $4.12/day in income. Now it brings in over $200/day. I didn’t spend a dime on marketing or promotion. In fact, I started this site with just $9 to register the domain name, and everything was bootstrapped from there. Would you like to know how I did it?

Some people have strong personal feelings with respect to making money from their blogs. If you think commercializing your blog is evil, immoral, unethical, uncool, lame, greedy, obnoxious, or anything along those lines, then don’t commercialize it.

Once you have an established blog with a regular readership, it is easy to turn a profit through advertising. By hosting sponsored links or banners, you can see income from your hobby almost overnight. There are two major types of business models that entrepreneurs use to make money blogging. The first and most common way to turn a blog into a profit making machine is to sell advertising to different companies and brands who want to reach that blog’s readers. The second kind of money making blog is one that helps a single brand improve its image by creating positive associations between the blog and the product in the mind of consumers. Both kinds of blogs can make a lot of money, especially if the creator has a keen mind for marketing.

There are several ways in which you can make money blogging, the first and easiest way to make money blogging is by using Google Adsence, you can place these ads all over your blog and when someone clicks on the ad you get paid, but the downfall is you do not get paid much and you need a very successful blog in order to make more then a couple dollars per month.

Another way that is becoming more popular around the internet is blogging sites that pay you to blog, for instance WritingUp, BlogFeast and Blogger Party are two places which pay you to blog however the way they pay you is with Google Adsence for instance you can blog about anything at all and 90% of the time your Google ads are displayed and 10% of the time there ads are displayed so its exactly like having your own blog but by using there blogs you don’t have to do so much advertising.
